- Kismat uses a live selfie plus face-recognition match against your uploaded photos. The selfie is captured during a short anti-spoofing flow (turn your head, blink) and compared mathematically to your profile pictures. Verified profiles get a blue badge. The selfie is deleted right after the check and only the result is stored. If you ask for a manual review after a failed check, that one selfie is kept until a person decides, at most 14 days.
