Three intents, a hard filter, live selfie verification and a free tier that is fully usable. Plus a few new ideas that move you from talking to meeting.
The core. Free for everyone.
Same intent, hard filter
Pick something serious, casual dating or friendship. You only see people who picked the same. A filter, not a soft preference.
Live selfie verification
A live selfie is matched to the face in the photos. Verified profiles carry a badge, so you know who passed.
Free is fully usable
Match and message for free. No credits. The free app shows a few ads; Kismat Plus is ad-free. One optional paid tier, Kismat Plus.
From talking to meeting.
Six new features, each built to end the endless chat. Kindly, and never by force.
Date or done.
After about ten days of talking, while both of you have the chat open, Kismat asks the question for you: plan a date, or close kindly.
- Plan a date: pick a day and a kind of place
- Or close kindly, with a kind line
- Never forced. "Not now" snoozes it
Photo freshness.
Photos carry the date from the phone's own file, when it has one. Profiles say "Photos dated 2026" or "Photo dated 2019", a hint for the first date, not a check.
- The date comes from the phone, not from us
- Every dated photo shows its month and year
- A one-line summary on every profile
Blind date.
Voice first. Cameras stay off, conversation cards keep it going, and faces are revealed only if both of you say yes.
- Voice first, cameras off
- Conversation cards when you want a prompt
- Faces revealed only if both say yes
- Runs on the web and the PWA
Instant match.
Open Likes, tap the heart on someone who already liked you, and it is a match. One tap, because they already said yes.
- Works in your Likes tab
- One tap on the heart and it is a match
- Part of Kismat Plus
Private when you want it.
Private Mode, free for everyone
Your photos stay blurred for anyone you have not matched with. Free on every account, with no paid way around it.
Hidden names
Hide from people you know. Add their names and you will not show up for each other.
Multi-city Passport
Browse other cities alongside your home city, before a move or a trip. Part of Kismat Plus.
